Montessori - Primary Curriculum
Montessori is an education Pedagogy that focuses on the individual child and his needs. The concepts behind the pedagogy were consolidated by Dr. Maria Montessori in the beginning of the 20th century. Her concepts in regards to teaching children based on their needs and personal interest, lead to the Montessori educational method of today.

The Primary environment comprise of mixed-age group children where they thrive in a friendly atmosphere that fosters cooperation, collaborative peer learning, harmony and peace.

The Montessori method is the strongest educational foundation for the child’s formative years. When children eventually transition from this method, they adapt well into mainstream or alternate streams of education for their higher classes fearlessly and confidently.
Exercises of practical life
In this area, the prepared environment and materials helps the child to properly take care of himself and his surrounding environment. These are real life-skills that help the child to become more functionally independent, leading to greater self-confidence.
Sensorial
The materials in this section allows the child to refine each of his senses. The environment is organized to help children experience, notice and categorize the incoming sensory information around them.
Language
The child is taught language through a specific progression of lessons where he first becomes aware of the different sounds in a word. The language skills of the child are developed through multiple oral, visual and auditory activities, across different languages.
Mathematics
Concrete materials are used to introduce the basic mathematical concepts of sequencing, pattern recognition, understanding quantities, etc. Through each material the child learns addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and truly understands what each one means in their deeper sense.
Culture
This area introduces the children to the aspects of nature and the world around them. The section includes geography, gardening, art and craft, music, etc.
